Students and staff at Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) are preparing for the upcoming 2022 graduation ceremonies. After two years of unconventional celebrations, the graduates of 2022 are eager to celebrate their accomplishments with their friends and family.

Superintendent Bob Stewart congratulates the graduates of 2022 on a job well done and wishes them the best in all their future endeavours. “Graduates, on behalf of the PWPSD trustees and staff, I commend you on your many achievements. You have reached a significant milestone in your life, and are now on the cusp of making the many education and career decisions that will shape your future. It has been inspiring watching you grow into successful young adults and we look forward to hearing of your many future accomplishments.”

This year, PWPSD will be celebrating 365 graduates from its eight high schools. Students, staff, and parents have been working hard on arranging the events and are excited for what will be very memorable celebrations.

The 2022 graduation season will begin with Peace Wapiti Academy (PWA)’s grand march and cap and gown ceremony on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 respectively.

Wanda Gerard, principal of PWA says she is beyond proud of the members of the Class of 2022. “They have worked hard to overcome many challenges in the face of a global pandemic. Through determination and dedication, they have persevered, developed strategies and gained valuable experiences that will help them continue to succeed. Congratulations Graduates!”
