On Oct. 13, 2023, Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports of a trash receptacle that had been lit on fire at approximately 5:30 a.m. that morning at a business in the area of 94 Street in Peace River.

Surveillance footage was obtained and an individual is seen in the east parking lot of the business, lighting an object on fire before kicking it toward the street and then advancing toward the trash receptacle, ultimately lighting its contents on fire.

RCMP are seeking any assistance from the community to review dash cam or security footage around the area, and report this any relevant footage to RCMP.

This file is still under active investigation, any assistance from the community is appreciated.
