UPDATE:

Peace Regional RCMP are continuing to investigate this firearms offence which occurred in the area of Cadotte Lake on Sept 13th, 2023. 

RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 2 males in relation to this incident:

Edward Floyd Flett (39), a resident of Cadotte Lake, is described as:

  • Medium complexion
  • Black, Short cut hair
  • Go-tee
  • Brown eyes
  • Approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • Approximately 120 pounds
  • Average build
  • Tattoo along left ring finger, on the top of right hand is a cross and some fading words, the name FLETT and Jocelyn on the left forearm, blue and black Oilers tattoo on right forearm, Tattoo on right side of neck saying Venessia, tattoo’s along both top shoulders

Chaos James Daryl Ghostkeeper (19), a resident of Cadotte Lake, is described as:

  • Light to medium complexion
  • Black short or shaven cut hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • Approximately 150 pounds
  • Average build
  • Mole on his left upper lip area

Community members are asked not to approach or engage with the 2 males and wait for RCMP.

 

September 14, 2023

On Sept 13, 2023, Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports of a firearm being discharged in the area of Cadotte Lake as well as a theft of a motor vehicle.

Extensive efforts were made to locate the 2 suspects however they have not yet been located; the stolen vehicle has been recovered.

RCMP believe this to be a targeted event and the public is not at risk and would like to thank the public for their assistance and cooperation.

The suspects are still outstanding and the investigation is still ongoing.
