Starting Monday night, September 26, crews begin paving at 108 Street and 100 Avenue intersection from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and on Tuesday night, September 27 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The work is being completed to remedy deficiencies identified during the initial inspection of the pavement project in 2020. This work is being completed by the contractor at no extra cost to the City of Grande Prairie.

108 Street and 100 Avenue intersection will be closed during the duration of the work. Detours will be in place to guide traffic around the closed intersection. Drivers are advised to proceed with caution, watch for flag people and anticipate potential traffic delays.

After the paving has been completed, line painting work begins shortly after.

The work is anticipated to be completed by the early morning of September 28, weather permitting.
