Fans have new music to add to their playlists. Award-winning artist, Pat Barrett, released a new album today.

Shelter, a 12 track album, is full of joyful songs that highlight the power of gratitude and the fleeting nature of time.

"It's about the nearness of God and the worship that comes from that place when our lives are centered on Him." Barrett shared on social media.

“The more life you live, the more hurt that stacks up and the more things don’t go your way. You have to put all of that somewhere, and I want God to be the One I turn to in all of that, that He becomes a shelter.” He continued.

The title track is inspired from scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5 and focuses on being children of light as we don't belong to the darkness. The song was co-written by Barrett and Cody Carnes, and a live performance of the song is debuted today on YouTube.
