Effective Monday, February 8, the Community Knowledge Campus is permitting one-on-one training services with certified professionals to resume in the facilities within the parameters set out by the Government of Alberta’s Path Forward: Phase 1.  

Details are as follows: 

Fitness Centre & Fieldhouse 

  • Individuals or members within the same household can book sessions with Eastlink Centre contracted personal trainers.  For a list of trainers please email the Citizen Contact Centre at info@cityofgp.com. 
  • Coaches and trainers must wear a mask at all times. 
  • The Eastlink Centre is working with user groups to book spaces for one-on-one sessions. 

Aquatics 

The Eastlink Centre is working with user groups and aquatic rehabilitation providers to provide pool space for one-on-one sessions. 

School Groups 

School groups are permitted in this phase for activities in alignment with their curriculum. 

Coca-Cola Centre 

The Coca-Cola Centre is working with user groups to book ice time for one-on-one sessions. 

All bookings must be made directly through your approved personal trainer or user group.

The Community Knowledge Campus looks forward to starting this staged re-opening in alignment with the Government of Alberta’s outline. While this update is still limited in its access, the facility remains committed to serving the community in as many ways as possible within the existing health regulations and continues to prioritize the health and safety of all its users. 

Additional recreation facilities in the City will be connecting directly with their user groups regarding one-on-one training availability.
