Alberta is reporting 143 new cases of COVID-19 from 13,610 tests completed on Oct 6.  Since the day before, 133 more people recovered. 

There are now 1,910 active cases in the province and 17,163 recoveries. 

There are five more hospitalizations that the previous day, with 66, 13 of these in intensive care.  

No new deaths were reported, and the total remains at 281. 

In Grande Prairie, there was no change, leaving 19 active cases with 94 total recoveries and two deaths. The County had one new case reported and now has four active with 60 recoveries.  

Mackenzie County has two more active cases and two less recoveries listed than yesterday. The MD of Lesser Slave Rive saw two people recover.
