A letter was sent to Charles Spencer High School families on Oct. 26 that a positive COVID-19 case was found at the school.  

The school is still open for in-person learning, and necessary measures are being taken to prevent spread to staff and students. This includes deep cleaning and disinfecting. Anyone who has not been contacted as a close contact will still be able to attend school in-person.  

To respect the privacy of those infected, the names won’t be released. AHS is following up with close contacts directly.  

Parents are also reminded to go through the daily symptom checklist with their students, as are staff, visitors and volunteers for themselves. The list can be found HERE.
