The Board Chair and Vice Board Chair are elected during the October 26, 2021, Organizational Meeting, followed by the first regular meeting. 

The role of the Trustees is to provide governance of the Division, as described in the Board Policies, available at www.gppsd.ab.ca. 

Locally elected Trustees are an essential element to a strong public education system and to Division administrators. The Administration looks forward to working with and supporting the new Board.
