Northwestern Polytechnic today announced two new Diploma pathways through the School of Applied Science and Technology. Starting Fall 2024, students will be able to pursue diplomas specializing in either University Arts or University Biological Sciences at the Grande Prairie campus.

While the fields of study remain the same, the difference is the ability to receive a credential, without leaving the region, at what was previously the midpoint of the UT degree. NWP’s new Arts and Biological Sciences diploma programs will also foster impactful connections through work-integrated learning placements in and around Grande Prairie.

As the only post-secondary institution in the region offering University Arts and Biological Sciences programs, NWP understands the importance of developing a solid foundation on which students can build.

The Arts diploma is also a steppingstone to success. Students may focus on social sciences and humanities including English and Psychology, while developing important critical thinking, communications, new media, and technology competencies. And like the Biological Sciences Diploma, graduates can opt to continue building their resume with further studies or make a seamless transition into the workforce.

Registration is now open for both programs. Visit NWP.me/ScienceAndTech to learn more.
