The Northern Spirit Light Show, a Grande Prairie Christmas season tradition, opens tonight.

This year’s show will include some old favourite light displays, as well as some new ones being built with the support of new sponsors.

Due to COVID-19, there won’t be any hot chocolate or wagon rides this year, but people can still drive through the lights for $15 a vehicle. They’ll also being taking donations for the food bank again.

Starting tonight, Nov. 19, the show will be open every Thursday to Sunday until Dec. 10. After that, they’ll be open every day until Dec. 31 except for Christmas.
