In response to the surge of the COVID-19 Omicron variant, North Zone Primary Care Networks (PCNs) have established a destination with resources and support for those Alberta North Zone residents who wish to self-report their positive rapid antigen test result.

The North Zone Primary Care COVID-19 Response Team includes teams of triage nurses in Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray who will assess patients and, when appropriate, update the patient’s family doctor. In cases where the patient does not have a family doctor, the team will arrange for care of the patient’s COVID-19 illness.

Beginning at 8:30am Tuesday January 11, 2022 - Alberta North Zone residents can access these services in two ways:

1. Through the Alberta North Zone PCNs website: www.northzonepcns.ca, where they can fill out The North Zone Primary Care COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Reporting and Intake Form, or

2. Call toll free 1-833-884-2193 between the hours of 8:30am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday to speak with a member of the triage team

The North Zone COVID-19 Response Team will attempt contact between 8:30am and 10pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
