Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt proclaimed that his team's win belonged to God while being handed the Lamar Hunt Trophy.

The trophy bearing his father's name is given each year to the AFC Conference Championship winners. That game determines which American Football Conference team is going to compete in the Superbowl.

After being handed the trophy, Hunt said “the glory belongs to Him and this trophy belongs to the best fans in the National Football League."

Hunt came to Christ after attending a Bible camp when he was 10. He tells the Tyler Morning Telegraph that Christian faith a top priority for his staff.

The Superbowl will be hosted in Miami this year, but the Chiefs will bring its own chaplains for their team. The Chiefs regularly host a service in their stadium before Sunday home games.

The Chiefs are heading to the Superbowl on Sunday, February 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.
