Disturbing the Peace will be pivoting online this year following the new regulations put in place last month by the Alberta Government.

DTP VRT (Virtual) 2021, will now take place on October 16, from 1:00 – 5:00pm in your home church with a simultaneous stream.

Lauren Farrow, Jr. High Director at Grande Prairie Alliance Church says, “We still want youth to engage face to face, so by gathering together in their youth groups and streaming the event, they will get more of that community aspect of it.”

Farrow also wanted to note, that if you don’t have a home church or youth group, to contact them on social media, or call the church at (780) 532-8836, and they can get you connected to one.

Swan City Collective will be back to lead worship this year. Youth can also look forward to hearing from guest speaker Randy Carter, a performance from local comedian Clint Pigeau and team, and some games where they can interact with others on livestream, as well as in their own youth groups.

Churches can register online for a flat fee of $150 (till October 11, 2021), by going to https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/disturbing-the-peace. After the deadline, tickets will be $225 per youth group. There is no individual registration.
