Due to popular demand, public skating at the Muskoseepi Park will be by private bookings only effective Monday, Dec. 14 in order to adhere to provincial health regulations.

Bookings are available in 1-hour timeslots at no charge by calling 780-538-0451 or online and can be made up to three days in advance. Hours will be 10:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m. with the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion open during these hours for washroom access.

City staff will be checking people in at the pond every hour, monitoring capacity, and accepting drop-ins if capacity allows.

A maximum of 50 people are permitted on the pond at one time with bookings only permitted for individuals or groups within the same household. Patrons must maintain physical distance from other households while skating.

No hockey or hockey equipment is allowed as the pond is not a high board facility and poses a safety concern.

The City recognizes and encourages the value of outdoor recreation and staying active during the winter while reminding all residents that provincial health regulations must be adhered to for the health and safety of our whole community.
