Construction continues on the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project, with final paving of the roadway to occur on 100 Avenue between 98 Street and 100 Street starting on Monday, October 25.

Operations begin with milling of the existing pavement on the 98 Street and 100 Avenue intersection and on 100 Street between 99 Avenue and 101 Avenue. Once milled, all areas will get repaved followed by the final asphalt surface in the travel and parking lanes on 100 Avenue.

During the paving of both the 98 Street and 100 Street intersections, traffic will be reduced to one lane north and south. 100 Avenue between 100 Street and 98 Street will remain closed for the duration of paving.

In addition, the intersection of 98 Street and 100 Avenue will be a 3-way stop for motorists on Sunday October 24, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
