Maverick City Music is encouraging Christians to use their breath to praise the Lord with their new EP titled Breathe.

"We have tasted and seen His goodness, His faithfulness," the band shares on their Facebook page. "Praying this Breathe EP continues to bless y’all like it is us."

The EP has live and studio version songs from their previous Black History Month EP, 2021’s Jubilee: Juneteenth album. This includes 'Breathe,' 'Joy of the Lord,' and 'Make it Right.'

"Each song continues to speak personally to us as we move into new seasons and reflect on all we’ve come from, and we can’t wait to hear how they minister to you."

Maverick City Music has also added three new singles to the EP. It was released on February 11, 2022.

While many singers and songwriters collaborate to make up Maverick City Music, this album includes well-known artists like Joe L Barnes, Maryanne J. George, Naomi Raine, Chandler Moore and Dante Bowe backed by the Mav City Gospel Choir. The title track 'Breathe' also features up-and-coming gospel artist DOE.
