Matthew West, For King & Country, Anne Wilson, and Phil Wickham are some of the most nominated names in this years 2022 Dove Award nominations announced today. 

Matthew West is taking the most nominated spot for the Dove Awards with seven nominations, including one for Songwriter of the Year. West has his name on many songs currently in the CCM world, including a credit on Anne Wilson's 'My Jesus,' Tasha Layton's 'Look What You've Done,' and Casting Crowns' 'Scars in Heaven' which are all nominated. 

Right behind West with six nominations each includes For King & Country, including Artist of the Year. Anne Wilson has six, including Song of the Year with 'My Jesus.' Chris Brown, most known for his work with Elevation Worship has six also, and Phil Wickham, including his nomination for Song of the Year with 'House of the Lord.'

Cece Winans has five nominations, which include Song of the Year as well as Artist of the Year. Brandon Lake also has five nominations. 

Coming in with four nominations for the Dove Awards are Dante Bowe and new CCM artist DOE. 

For the first time ever Canadian Christian artist Jordan St. Cyr has his name in the running with two nominations. One for New Artist of the Year as well as one for Short Form Music Video of the Year for 'Weary Traveller,' shot in Alaska.

The 53rd annual GMA Dove Awards will be held on October 18 at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
