With just 7 days until the Cops for Cancer Tour de North begins, two local Mounties are winding up their fundraising effort and preparing to hit the road. Riders are encouraged to prepare by riding 1500 km and raising a minimum of $3000 prior to the ride.
Constable Roland Dixon, is a 4-year member of the Fort St John RCMP and he previously served for 12 years with the BC Sheriff Service. Roland works with the local Indigenous communities and enjoys the great outdoors. You can support Roland by donating on his support page.
Corporal Aaron Dale, is a 7-year member of the Fort St John RCMP and is currently working in the Municipal Traffic Section. You can support Aaron by donating on his support page.
Both mounties are heading to Prince George on September 14 to kick off the 800 km tour across Northern BC. The tour kicks of on September 15 with stops in Vanderhoof, Fort St James, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Smithers, New Hazelton, Terrace and concluding in Prince Rupert on September 21.
