Up and coming local Christian artist Quinn Throness is releasing her very first single, “In the End,” on March 3.
The 18-year-old from La Glace was born and raised in a Christian home. Her family has roots in the community and hosts the La Glace youth group at their home every Friday night.
Quinn decided in junior high to start to know God better and read her bible more. Around this time, she started songwriting and knew that is what she wanted to do.
“I want to do this for the rest of my life. I want to serve God for the rest of my life.”
At 12, she started ukulele lessons with local artist Melissa Buhler and moved on to piano. Melissa encouraged Quinn with her songwriting and singing.
Her new single, “In the End,” was written when she was in grade 12.
“I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school. So, this is just me giving that back to God and saying, I trust you, God, and I want to serve you all my days.”
Quinn knows that she is young but sees that God has already used her and has shown her things that make her want to trust him in everything that she does. She hopes that He can use her music to impact the youth of her community and others.
