Beginning today, Knowledge Way West adjacent to Charles Spencer High School is closed to accommodate the installation of a fire hydrant. The area is expected to be impacted for up to 1.5 weeks.

Vehicle Travel and Parking

All parking lots within the Community Knowledge Campus remain open, however vehicles may only access the northwest parking lot from Knowledge Way North. The southwest parking lot is accessible via Knowledge Way West, but reserved for students during weekdays.

Road barricades and directional detour signage are on-site to guide motorists. Please watch for pedestrians and follow signage when travelling through the area.

Transit Impact

Transit route 3 (including St. Joes and John Paul II), route 6, and route 7 will all be impacted. All impacted buses will be re-routed to use Knowledge Way East.

Route 3: When travelling westbound on 68 Avenue, route 3 will turn right at the intersection of 68 Avenue and Knowledge Way East. The bus continues northbound behind the Coca-Cola Centre and Eastlink Centre, it then turns right onto 106 Street. From here the bus continues on its regular route.

Route 6: When travelling eastbound on 68 Avenue, route 6 will turn left at the intersection of 68 Avenue and Knowledge Way East. The bus continues northbound behind the Coca-Cola Centre and Eastlink Centre where it turns right on to 106 Street. The bus will then continue on its regular route.

Route 7: When travelling eastbound on 68 Avenue, route 7 will turn left at the intersection of 68 Avenue and Knowledge Way East. The bus continues northbound behind the Coca-Cola Centre and Eastlink Centre and turns right onto 106 Street. The bus then turns right onto Kateri Drive continues south until 68 Avenue. At 68 Avenue, the bus will turn left and continue on its regular route.

For all impacted routes, temporary bus stop 335/731 is located just north of the intersection of 68 Avenue and Knowledge Way East and Temporary bus stop M9 is located on Knowledge Way North, east of 106 Street near the walkway.
