Albertans will be addressed by premier Jason Kenney tonight in regards to the COVID-19 crisis.

Kenney will provide projections put together by Alberta Health Services during the live televised event.

During Monday's provincial update, Kenney stated that Tuesday's address will provide an outline of when Alberta is expected to hit the peak from the virus and how the province is prepared to handle it.

This will include information on medical supplies as well as the capacity of the health system.

Kenney will also go over the action plan for the coming weeks and months.

Monday's provincial update revealed the province has seen 1,348 confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far.

Of that total, 24 people have died and 361 are confirmed recoveries.

Tuesday's address will begin around 6 p.m.
