Only releasing her first single 12 weeks ago after it blew up on TikTok, Katy Nichole has made Billboard music history.

This week 'In Jesus Name (God of Possible)' hit No. 1 on both Billboard’s Christian Airplay and AC Indicator charts.

"Making history, the song reaches the Christian Airplay penthouse in its 12th week, completing the quickest jaunt to No. 1 for a female artist’s first entry in the chart’s 19-year history," says Billboard.

Reaching even further, the viral debut single also continues its sixth week atop the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart while topping the iTunes Christian & Gospel Songs chart for 12 consecutive weeks.

"I started Tik Tok in 2020 when quarantine started, and everyone had nothing to do. I kind of got a little momentum going. I posted every week. I made different videos. Some were music-related some of them not. This was just a regular week when I posted this video of a song called God of Possible. I didn't have any expectations for this video. I didn't know what it was going to do," says Nichole during a Connections interview.

The rising Christian artist also has many shows lined up this year after her single took off, including with artists like TobyMac, Newsboys, Skillet, We Are Messengers, Crowder, Colton Dixon, Big Daddy Weave and Zach Williams.

Nichole performed her No. 1 single to a packed Bridgestone Arena in Nashville during Easter weekend during Chris Tomlin’s Good Friday Nashville.

Max Lucado, who was the speaker for the Easter event, said, "Ladies and gentlemen I am so grateful to have the incredible Katy Nichole joining us tonight. God is using her voice and song to share a powerful message for the church!"

At only 21-years-old, Nichole is working to release her first EP in June.
