Well-known Pastor and author Timothy Keller has entered hospice care in his home.

Keller, the pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, was initially diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in May 2020. Since then, he has received two years of chemotherapy and participated in an immunotherapy drug trial for National Institute for Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Recently his health took a turn for the worst. Over the past few days, his son, Michael Keller, says he has asked us to pray with him often.

"He expressed many times through prayer his desire to go home to be with Jesus.

Michael says the family is very sad because they all wanted more time, but they know he has very little left at this point.

"In prayer, he said two nights ago, "I'm thankful for all the people who’ve prayed for me over the years. I'm thankful for my family, that loves me. I’m thankful for the time God has given me, but I’m ready to see Jesus. I can’t wait to see Jesus. Send me home."
