Following a very successful 12 days of Christmas Giving toy drive, hosted by the Hudson’s Hope RCMP in 2020, the program will be returning again this year starting on December 1, 2021, with a few exciting changes.

The Hudson’s Hope Emergency Services will be joining forces and working with the Friends of Hudson’s Hope to ‘Stuff the Bus’. Not only toys for kids ages 0-18 years will be collected, but donations for our local seniors and families will also be accepted, opening up the Christmas Giving to a larger number of our local residents.

Starting December 1, you can drop of any items or cash donations at the District of Hudson’s Hope office located at 9904 Dudley drive. The Lions bus will be making appearances at different local events between December 1st and December 12th, where donations of new toys, items for the seniors, families and cash donations will be accepted.

The first event that the community can begin to stuff the bus will be at the District of Hudson’s Hope Santa Parade Drive through event on December 5, 2021. Starting at 5:00 pm, bring your donations and help kick off getting the Lions bus stuffed!

You can register your kids ages 0-18 through Mr. Derrek Beam at the Hudson’s Hope School. Seniors can be registered by calling Linda Todd at 250-783-0667, and leaving a message. You can also register with the Friends of Hudson’s Hope. If you are already registered for the Friends of Hudson’s Hope Christmas hamper program, you will be registered for this program as well.

We live in such an amazing community and have proven that we look out for each other, especially while in the time of need. Stated Cpl. Rob Gardner, Hudson's Hope RCMP Detachment Commander. Lets get together and show our community spirit by stuffing the Lions Bus with items to help out our local residents.

If you’d like more information on this program you can reach out to Cpl. Rob Gardner at 250-783-5241 or Fire Chief Brad Milton at 250-783-9901.
