Hinton RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance with a number of thefts from vehicles that occurred on Oct. 15, and a theft from a shed that occurred sometime between Oct. 28 and Nov. 2 in the Hinton area. 

On Oct. 15, at 11:15 a.m., Hinton RCMP received a complaint of a theft from a truck that had occurred over night. A Google Pixel 2XL phone had been stolen from a truck parked in the East River Road area. 

Later that same day on Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m., another report of a break-in to a vehicle was reported in the area of Meadow Drive. A number of items were stolen including ammunition, Heavy Tech hoodies, Volcom ball cap, Hurley ball cap, Sorel hiking boots, camouflage hunting jackets, specialty fly fishing equipment, as well as custom engraved Dewalt and Snap On power tools and a set of keys to a Dodge Ram truck. These items are of a value exceeding $2,700. 

On Nov. 2, Hinton RCMP received report of a theft of a number of items from a shed that had occurred in the area of Erith Drive in Hinton, sometime between Oct. 28 and Nov. 2. The value of the items exceeds $4,300. 

A number of items were stolen, amongst those, two were identifiable and Hinton RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating these items: 

Yamaha generator with blue on the sides and a pull handle surrounded with chrome/metal circle around it
