More local seniors were blessed this last week with beautiful flowers by some generous souls.

On Friday, Sept. 4, 100 bouquets of flowers from Gypsy Blooms Flower Truck were delivered to the seniors & support workers of Heritage Lodge in Grande Prairie.

The residents at Heritage Lodge have had a difficult few weeks with the outbreak of COVID-19 causing them to be confined to their rooms, so this meant a lot to them.

This time, Brett and Greg Shillington of RE/MAX Grande Prairie and Garnet, owner of West Rock Inc, made it possible.

They were inspired by Rene Blais from RB Oilfield Hauling, who paid to have a truckload of flowers delivered to the folks at Wildrose Manor on Aug. 27.
