The Rotary clubs of Grande Prairie are looking for help. They released the following:
During these challenging times, the Community Food Bank is struggling to keep up with the increasing demands. Many in our community are relying on these services to ensure they have a warm meal or food to feed their families. Sadly, the demand continues to grow.
We are asking for your help. The Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie, through the Rotary Community Food Bank Drive, are working to help meet these unprecedented needs. In consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have set a monetary goal of raising $100,000. These funds will go directly into our local community, providing food and other essential items to individuals and families who need temporary assistance.
We know our goal is big. We also know that our community is full of people who are looking for a way to help, which is why we are reaching out to you.
