On May 18 around 7:10 PM, Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence in Berwyn.   

Police recovered two stolen pick-up trucks, as well as a "Jaws of Life" that had been stolen during a break-in to the Harmon Valley fire hall in April. 

As a result of the investigation, Jesse William Jackson, a 39-year-old resident of the Grimshaw area has been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. 

The accused has been released from custody and is next scheduled to appear in Peace River provincial court on Aug. 24 in relation to these matters.
