Starting today, County crews and designated contractors will begin removing gravel from the pit located south of Highway 43, down Range Road and 84 and Range Road 90, close to the Wapiti River.
The gravel will be used for the maintenance of County roads throughout the area.
Motorists and residents living in the area can expect to see an increase in heavy truck traffic until mid-July.
Crews will be watering the road as necessary to control excess dust.
All start and completion dates for road construction and rehabilitation projects are weather dependent.
