Alberta Health is now providing an interactive map that shows how many people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The map breaks down by age:
- percentage of individuals who have received at least one dose
- percentage of individuals fully immunized
- total number of doses that have been administered
In the City of Grande Prairie, 20,468 people have received one dose of vaccine, or 27.3% of the population. The highest percentage by population is those 75+; 80.3% of this group has received at least one dose, and 67.5% have received two. Those who have received two doses are 3.8% of Grande Prairie’s population, or 2,859 people.
A slightly higher percentage of the County of Grande Prairie has been immunized with one dose at 28.5% (6,108 people), though the percentage with two is a bit lower. Those with two doses make up 3.6% of the population, or 761 people. In the County, 60.1% of those 75+ are fully immunized, with 72.4% with one dose. This is also the group with the highest percentage.
Provincially, 42.2% of people have one dose of vaccine, and 7.4% are fully immunized. A total of 2,217,446 vaccine dose have been given, with 329,613 Albertans fully immunized.
