The Salvation Army will be launching their annual Christmas Kettle Campaign Thursday, November 16, at the Canadian Tire, 11601 104 Ave, at 12 p.m., and everyone is invited. Lisa Miller, from Grand Prairie Canadian Tire, will make the first official Kettle donation of the campaign.

Joining The Salvation Army for the kick-off will be the 501st Legion dressed in their Star Wars attire. The Kettle campaign is crucial to the programs The Salvation Army provides year-round in Grande Prairie for people struggling with hard times - including toy hampers, foodbank services, hot meals, summer camps, clothing, counselling, and more.

Help The Salvation Army make it a Merry Christmas for everyone by donating at a Kettle this year or becoming a Kettle volunteer. Call 780-538-2848 to sign up for a shift (2 hours).
