Today Alberta ended its week-long streak of daily cases of under 100, with 134 new COVID-19 cases from 8,533 tests in the last 24 hours. 

There are now 1,125 active cases in the province and another 113 recoveries puts that total at 10,097. 

In the province, 68 people are in the hospital with 18 in intensive care. There’s been three new deaths for a total of 208. 

In the City of Grande Prairie, two more cases were identified for an active total of 11 with 29 recovered. The County’s numbers held steady at three active and 20 recoveries.  

Mackenzie County added another eleven cases and a new fatality. They have 55 active, 123 recoveries and three deaths. There are two active outbreaks listed in the region: family gatherings and Heimstaed Seniors Lodge in La Crete.  

Big Lakes County saw its first new case in a couple of weeks and had one removed. They have 41 recoveries with five total deaths.
