Grande Prairie RCMP Seek Public Assistance to Identify Suspect In Break and Enter Investigation

Grande Prairie, Alberta – On Monday, August 6, 2018 at approximately 9:30 AM, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at an apartment complex on Poplar Drive. A 65-year-old female woke up to find an unknown male in her ground floor apartment. The male took her wallet and left the location.

Police contained the area and RCMP Police Dog Services attended to conduct a search, however the suspect was not located.

An RCMP sketch artist developed a composite sketch of the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, approximately 19 or 20 years old
  • Dark complexion
  • Black/brown shoulder length hair
  • Beard with moustache
  • Approximately 5'5"
  • Slender build
  • Wearing a white t-shirt with a circular silver design, possibly a peace symbol or knot
