Grande Prairie, Alberta - On Tuesday December 18, 2018 at approximately 2:00 AM Grande Prairie Rural RCMP received a call advising that the suspect in the aggravated assault investigation was at a residence on the east side of town. RCMP responded and arrested one male without incident.

Alexzyander Arthur GHOSTKEEPER (30) of Grande Prairie is facing the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

GHOSTKEEPER remains in custody and will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on January 9, 2019.

Grande Prairie RCMP Seek Assistance in Aggravated Assault Investigation

Grande Prairie, Alberta - On Saturday December 15, 2018 at approximately 10:42 PM Grande Prairie Rural RCMP responded to a stabbing in the area of 100 Street and 93 Avenue.When police arrived they located one male with a serious injury. Video surveillance shows a suspect male injuring the male without obvious provocation. The suspect left the area in an unknown direction.

The injured male was transported to hospital by EMS.

RCMP members and RCMP Police Dog Services made extensive patrols but were unable to locate the suspect male.

Police are actively trying to locate the suspect. He is described as:

  • ·Dark coat
  • ·Plaid Shirt
  • ·Jeans
  • ·Black toque
  • ·Brown boots with furry white trim
