Grande Prairie RCMP remain on scene at Highway 40 in the area of Township Road 700 and Range Road 61a near Grovedale.  At 5:15 am August 24, 2023 a semi hauling combustible material caught fire at the intersection of Township 700 and Range Road 61a.

Emergency services advise the vehicle fire has been extinguished. Traffic flow has returned in both directions.  

No injuries have been reported.
