On Friday, Nov. 24, at 1:39 p.m., Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian at the corner of 97 Avenue and 100 Street in Grande Prairie.

The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the collision. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and stated that the vehicle was a dark coloured SUV, possibly black.

Grande Prairie RCMP would like to speak with the driver involved and is seeking public assistance to identify the vehicle and the driver. Anyone who may have witnessed the event, or has dash cam footage of the corner of 97 Avenue and 100 street between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., is asked to please come forth and submit it to the Grande Prairie RCMP.
