Superintendent Lee Brachman of the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment invites local community members to town halls being held at various locations throughout the city.

Residents served by Grande Prairie Detachment who may have any issues, comments and / or concerns about policing issues in and around Grande Prairie are invited to attend.

“Town Hall meetings provide us an opportunity to engage directly with the community and hear the community’s perspectives on policing and community safety in Grande Prairie,” says Superintendent Lee Brachman Officer in charge of Grande Prairie Detachment. “This important community input is then fed back into the Grande Prairie RCMP’s annual planning process, ensuring that policing priorities in Grande Prairie are directly informed by the residents of Grande Prairie and are reflective of the community’s policing needs. Collaboration with the community and residents of Grande Prairie is a critical component of effective, community-led policing.”

Town halls are not only a way to connect with local community members, they are an excellent opportunity for people to let us know their concerns on policing priorities which helps the RCMP to better serve our communities.

Members of the public are not required to register for these events. The events will include a presentation, panelist question and answer, and are drop in format.
