An adult male approached the victim outside of their residence, stated that their accounts were frozen and had no way of returning to Calgary. The male requested financial assistance and in return gave the victim several pieces of gold jewelry to show good faith that the loan would be repaid.

The family is described as:

  • Female, 40-50 years old wearing dark colored blouse
  • Male youth, 16-17 years old
  • Female youth, 15-16 years old.

They were driving a white Dodge Durango.
