The Aquatera Outdoor Pool schedule is now viewable as the facility gears up to open for the season on Friday, June 7 at the Here Comes Summer event.

Exciting offerings will take place at the outdoor pool this season, including:

·Theme nights every Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. all season during public swim alternating between beach party, games night, BYOF (bring your own floaty), western and neon/80s themes.

·Private facility rental options from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays all season. More information coming soon!

·Aquatics classes including Aqua ZumbaAqua Blast Bootcamp and Baby & Me throughout the season.

·Grande Access Pass (GAP) member night during public swim every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting July 1. GAP members can bring a friend for free during this time and make music requests.

·Youth night during public swim every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting July 1. Youth night features $2 entry for ages 13 to 17 and in-water activities like volleyball and basketball.

·Evening swimming lessons from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday starting July 1.

The Aquatera Outdoor Pool is open seven days a week from June 7 to September 3 with varying hours depending on day and month. The outdoor pool stays operational under adjusted hours on statutory holidays (Canada Day on July 1, Heritage Day on August 5 and Labour Day on September 2) from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Here Comes Summer event

The Aquatera Outdoor Pool hosts free public swimming, sponsored by Aquatera Utilities Inc., on Friday, June 7 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of the Here Comes Summer event.

Access to the Aquatera Outdoor Pool is first-come, first-served. Staff will space out entry times for waiting guests if the outdoor pool reaches capacity in two-hour time slots during the event.

Here Comes Summer also includes a free community barbecue, outdoor games with prizes, roaming entertainment and roller-skating demonstrations in Muskoseepi Park from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
