In Alberta today (Oct. 28), 410 new cases of COVID-19 are being reported from 10,631 tests. 

There are now 4,793 active cases in the province, with 21,459 total recoveries. There are 351 new recoveries reported today.  

Four more Albertans have died, for a total of 313. Currently, 125 people are in the hospital with 19 of these in intensive care. This is two more hospitalizations and three more ICU admissions than yesterday. 

In Grande Prairie, 11 people recovered from the virus, and one new case was reported. The City now has 93 active cases and 160 recoveries. 

In the County of Grande Prairie, two people recovered, and two more people got sick. There remains 19 active cases and 69 recoveries.  

Today the MD of Spirit River saw six recoveries from COVID-19, taking them off the province’s watch list. There was one recovery each in Clear Hills County and the MD of Lesser Slave River.  

The MD of Greenview is reporting one new case.
