The Grande Prairie Airport announced Tuesday afternoon (July 14) that masks will now be mandatory for entering the terminal. 

This will come into effect this Saturday, July 18.  

Brian Grant, CEO, says, “We continue to monitor our air travel patterns and regional COVID-19 activity to ensure the safest possible travel environment while protecting our communities from potential risks of COVID-19”. 

Masks will not be required for those dropping off or picking up passengers outside at the curb.  

They've also said the terminal is open to the public 4:00am – 11:30pm. 

Grande Prairie Airport reminds customers that they do not have flights going outside of Canada arriving passengers from locations outside of Canada are being monitored.
