Alberta has added 339 new cases of COVID-19 today (Feb. 10), from more than 10,800 tests completed, for a positivity rate of about 3.2%.

Right now, 5,706 cases are active in the province. With 458 more people recovering, the recovered total has reached 120,136.

There’s 421 people in the hospital with the virus, with 77 of these in intensive care. This is six fewer hospitalizations than reported yesterday, and one fewer ICU admission. In the North Zone, there’s 53 people in the hospital with six of these admitted to intensive care.

Alberta has reported six more COVID-related deaths, for a total of 1,728 since the start of the pandemic.

There’s been 16 more variant cases identified since yesterday, for a total of 120. There have not been any variant cases found in the North Zone. There have been 58 found in the Calgary Zone, 43 in the Edmonton Zone and 19 in the Central Zone.

There have now been 129,452 vaccine doses administered. About 37,000 people have been fully immunized with two doses. 71% of long-term care and supportive living residents have received both doses.

In the City of Grande Prairie, 24 new cases were added, and 10 people recovered. The active total is 167 with 1111 recoveries.

In the County of Grande Prairie, one new case was added today, and one person recovered. There’s now 36 active cases and 336 recoveries.
