Alberta has added 325 new cases of COVID-19 today (Feb. 19), from 9,376 tests completed for a positivity rate of about 3.5%.  

Right now, 4,840 cases are active in the province. With 365 more people recovering, the recovered total has reached 123,703. 

There’s 352 people in the hospital with the virus, with 55 of these in intensive care. This is ten fewer hospitalizations than reported yesterday, and the same number of ICU admissions. In the North Zone, there’s 53 people in the hospital with none of these admitted to intensive care. 

Alberta has reported seven more COVID-related deaths, for a total of 1,812 since the start of the pandemic.  

Fourteen more variant cases of COVID-19 have been found, for a total of 253. There have not been any variant cases found in the North Zone or South Zone. There have been 103 found in the Calgary Zone, 97 in the Edmonton Zone and 53 in the Central Zone. 

There have now been 160,423 vaccine doses administered.  

In the City of Grande Prairie, 20 new cases were added, and 13 people recovered. The active total is 237 with 1213 recoveries.  

In the County of Grande Prairie, five new cases were added today, and three people recovered. There’s now 48 active cases and 364 recoveries.
