County of Grande Prairie Councillors and staff attended the grand opening celebration for the new Sexsmith Fire Hall Friday evening. The County is proud to have contributed $500,000 to the facility as an investment in high quality fire protection and safety services. The County of Grande Prairie and Town of Sexsmith have a strong relationship, with partnerships like mutual aid-agreements for Regional Fire Service and training and the newly created position of District Fire Chief that improve public safety and overall quality of life for residents.
