Grande Prairie Regional College (GPRC) welcomed students to campus today for the start of fall semester.

Depending on the class, instruction is being delivered remotely, in a mixed model, or in person. Most lectures will be remote while labs and practicum course components will take place in person.

Many other post-secondary institutions have implemented similar models for the school year.

The college has retrofitted classrooms, labs and studios, enhanced cleaning and sanitization practices, and adjusting maximum capacities. Physical distancing will be enforced and use of face masks where distancing is not possible.

GPRC says they will keep working to provide the best possible learning situation for their students.
