GPPSD annual Elementary Fun Run

GPPSD annual Elementary Fun Run is back for another exciting school year!

Come for the run, stay for the company and the hot chocolate.

For more than 30 years, the Grande Prairie Public School District (GPPSD) has had its elementary students participate in the District Fun Run. During this event, students from all of our Kindergarten to grade 8 schools gather with their families, peers, parents, teachers, and administrators for a fun-filled run. This year’s event will take place at Muskoseepi Park on Saturday, September 22 with the grade 6 students running the first race of the day at 9:30 a.m. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join their children for the race as this is a great opportunity for a fun family fitness event. After each race, participation ribbons will be handed out, and we invite students and their families to enjoy the opportunity to visit with teachers and friends over hot chocolate.
Our District Fun Run supports our goal of promoting healthy living and bringing our school community together. We look forward to filling Muskoseepi Park again this year and participating in a valuable GPPSD tradition.
