Grande Prairie City Council presented Sunrise House Youth Emergency Shelter with a cheque for $939,556.57 at yesterday's Council meeting.

Council is a strong supporter of Sunrise House and the vital supports they provide for youth in need.

"We look forward to the positive impact the new build will make in our community".

Sunrise House provides temporary emergency shelter to youth who have become or are at risk of becoming homeless.
