This week, the GP 100 chose Bandaged Paws to be their next recipient of $10,000.

The GP 100 is a community-based organization made up of local Grande Prairie men wanting to make a difference. Each quarter they meet and invite three charities to speak and after they vote on who to donate to. Every member commits $100 every quarter, giving the winner over $10,000. At the end of the meeting, new charities are nominated for the next meeting.

The other two charities at the latest meeting received a donation of $500. These were the MS Society of Canada AB and NWT Division and The Imagination Library.

Banadaged Paws shared, “We are so thrilled to be the chosen recipients of generous $10,000 donation from the amazing guys with The GP 100! We are nearing 600 animals for 2020 so far, with many animals still waiting for a safe space. With the uncertain times during this global pandemic their support means even more to us! This donation will go towards getting us back to our regular capacity and continue to grow as an organization. We have grown exponentially in the last few years with no signs of slowing down. The support of The GP 100 helps us ensure we can meet the needs of our community members and the animals that need us."
