There has been an increase in reports of garage door openers being stolen from vehicles in Grande Prairie.

Since September, at least 5 reports have been received of garage door openers being stolen from vehicles. Items such as these can be used to facilitate break and enters.

Consider making it a habit to take your garage door opener into your residence when you get out of the vehicle. One less thing for possible thieves to target your vehicle for!
